This tote is made for those who notice material before form.
Cut from carefully selected horse culatta and left unlined, it allows the leather to be experienced as it is — dense, irregular, alive. The interior remains raw, revealing a surface that changes with light, touch, and time. No two areas are the same.
The bag offers volume when needed, and restraint when not.
Its side panels fold inward, quietly reducing the form without altering its character. The structure responds to use, rather than dictating it.
There is no decoration here.
The design stays in the background, allowing the material to define the presence of the object.
This is not a bag meant to look new for long.
It is meant to become familiar.
Crafted from reverse horse culatta in the tradition of very few small Tuscan tanneries.
Imperfections such as slightly uneven stitches or asymmetric contours are intentional and reflect the artisanal aesthetic of the piece. These are not flaws, but integral elements of its unique identity.
Each artefact is made one at a time. Production is limited by the hands of a single maker and signed with a number and year.
Natural marks — subtle stains, light scratches, and developing patina — are inherent to the leather and evolve over time, adding depth and character.
